Itchy eyes, unwanted sneezing, stuffy nose… These symptoms that return earlier and earlier in the year – the National Aerobiological Monitoring Network points out in its February 16 bulletin that allergy risk is high in more than three-quarters of the metropolitan area – you may know it. And for good reason: in France, 30% of adults and 20% of children are affected by a pollen allergy. An allergy that has been steadily increasing in industrialized countries in recent decades. According to the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Protection, the number of people affected by this type of allergy has doubled in twenty years.
